Riding in Vintage

                                                            Belated Birthday Present
                                                               Viking Vintage Bike

Hello there guys! I'm back again. This post has been long overdue. My birthday was the 31st August and I got my bike from my gorgeous boyfriend Michael on about the 10th September. We had spoke about it and ordered it together beforehand and I was seriously so excited. However, he surprised me with all the lovely balloons and ribbons. How amazing is the minion balloon? (I have a thing for them. So I may have dropped a few hints.)

Now of course, the bike!! How beautiful is it? I absolutely love the style and this was the type I'd always wanted and I was so happy when I seen it in person it was even more amazing. It's a Viking style and my favourite part has to be the basket, which just completes it. I was on it literally everyday since I got it! But since I've gone back to uni I've not been able to ride it because of the horrible weather and things. So I thought doing this post will encourage me to start riding it again. My uni's about 10 minutes away on the bus from my student house so on my bike it may take me a little longer but I'm excited. At uni we also have bike lockers which are only £2 for a one off payment, so I have no excuses! If anybody would like any details feel free to ask.

Anyway, I do apologise for my ranting but I just thought you guys might appreciate this post as it may inspire some of you to ride or show you a type of bike you may like for yourself. Thank you for reading and I'll be back soon with some fashion posts.

See you all soon,
Love Abby

Burger Heaven

                                                                       Byron Burger

If you're looking for an amazing burger restaurant, Byron is definitely that! My boyfriend Michael and I have been to so many restaurants recently that we could seriously be food critics (no kidding). HA who do we think we are? It's actually become one of our favourite things to do together and the main reason I have zero money but it's so worth it!

We went to Byron the weekend after my birthday and it was heavenly!! I wish I could remember the names of both of our burgers but I can't, I'm sorry. Mine had bacon, cheese and a mixture of other toppings that were amazing. Just writing this post it making me incredibly hungry! I don't know about you guys. Michael did go for the mac and cheese as a side order and I went for some seasoned chips which were gorg.

My aim was to start doing more lifestyle posts and this is the beginning of many! So I hope you all like my restaurant adventures because there will be many more to come.

Thanks for reading,
Abby

Festival Vibes

Leeds Festival
August 2014

So I've been busy busy busy over the summer and haven't had any time to think/do a thing.
I haven't felt too well recently and I think a big reason for this has been because of hardly stopping. From working to worrying about uni/money and all 'adult' things, I've been so stressed but I feel like myself again.

Anyway, enough about that! I know this is extremely late but at the end of August I went to Leeds fest which was absolutely amazing. These are just a few of the many photos we took and some of my favourites. I actually went to the festival with my little sister Jess, her best friend and three of my friends too. We stayed in the blue campsite which I LOVED. Mainly because last year I camped at yellow and absolutely hated it!!

Saint Raymond, Paramore, Jake Bugg and Arctic Monkeys were my particular faves. I was even quite surprised at my love for Enter Shikari (heavy doesn't even cover it). One thing I'm not good at though is camping, especially when your tent is damp and you have a sleeping bag that isn't the comfiest haha! Apart from that I loved the nights of dancing, drinking and literally laughing our heads off. I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend Leeds Fest to anybody. You never know you might surprise yourself and find some new bands that you like!

Thanks for reading,
much love

Pop of Polka Dots

                                                                                                                Dress - H&M
                                                                                                 Hair Accessory - Primark

Well hello again! Here's another 'summer' post. This was from a few days ago when we actually had some sun but as of a few days ago it's gone back to gloomy England. So I thought this post would be a nice one to make myself less miserable today. This blog post was taken in my back garden which is a work in progress as you can tell, however I do think it's quite pretty. Also, forgive me for my paleness I'm not a big fake tan user, actually I would be if I wasn't so lazy. On Tuesday it'll be 1 week until my holiday. I'm off to Spain with my friends, so this week I need to do last minute holiday bits and bobs. I think I may do a blog post on my holiday purchases too. Maybe even a 'what I'm taking on holiday' post.

I've had a bit of a horrible few days. I've been so stressed with moving from my current student house to my new one, which is pretty close but the whole packing process is SO stressful!! I was close to having a nervous breakdown, from rushing to get all of my things packed, getting rid of all my old clothes, sorting clothes for ebay, having the landlord nagging at us to 'make sure the house is clean before we leave' (I don't blame him we are messy students) and finally, getting the room that would have been my last choice in the new house. It happened by the flip of a coin so I didn't have a leg to stand on but I will admit I got pretty emotional! One big thing I learnt this week was that I wouldn't have been able to do any of this without my family, boyfriend and friends. I already knew how important they were to me but tough times really do make you remember how important!!

Thanks for reading guys,
I've started to love blogging so much recently and I'm excited to continue.
Much love,
Abby

Embracing Pale

                                                                            Dress - Pull and Bear
                                                                               Shoes - Primark

                                                                                Bag - Primark
                                                                         Glasses - Dorothy Perkings

Firstly, apologies for my paleness. It's been so lovely and sunny recently in the UK and I've been avoiding wearing dresses for a while but I thought it was about time for me to embrace the paleness. I absolutely love how comfy this dress is and the print which is perfect for the summer. Plus if I do say so myself it goes pretty well with the sandals. The bag is also stolen from my little sister Jess who also has a blog and it's not a bad bargain from Primark.

These pictures were taken close to my mums house. We found this lovely street and we loved the trees so we thought why not make the most of it and take some blog photos? I really dislike my legs and they're my main aim to get more fit. I dream for long, tan legs but hey ho I got short and stumpy pale ones. It's okay I can work with them!! ;) HAHA!

Oh and as for my tan. That should soon improve as I only have 17 days until I go on holiday. I can't wait to be in the sun everyday for a week! I shall speak to you all soon, thanks for reading.

Much love,
Abby

The right time

                                                                         Blazer - Pull and Bear
                                                                         T-shirt - Primark
                                                                           Jeans - Topshop

                                                                        Bag - Charity Shop

I'm back and I have finished uni. I AM SO HAPPY. Four months of freedom. This year of uni has been busy busy busy so I'm making the most of these four months off. I have quite a busy summer so I'm quite excited about that. But there will be plenty of time for outfit posts... don't worry.

I have a looooong to do list. Which mainly includes exercise, youtube and moving into my new student house. Anyway, I'll be sure to do lots of lifestyle blog posts soon, I promise.

As for the outfit! Today I went to visit my cousin who recently just bought a new house, with my mum and sister. It was horrible and rainy but we were on the train for most of it so it wasn't too bad. Since we were at the train station I thought this would be quite a different place to take some photos. I just loved the background and had to quickly pose before loads of people popped up behind me. This outfit isn't exactly glamorous but it's comfy and I love the white blazer and bag combination. This bag was my favourite purchase recently as it was 50p!! I was so happy because if I do say so myself I think it's a good find.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend,
I'll be back next week with another post.

Pop of colour

Hat - Primark
Shirt - George (Asda) size 10
Jeans - Topshop size 10
Shoes - International

Hello again!
So I'm back... finally. Sorry for how long it has taken me to post again. I've been super busy with my final uni work for this year. I'm one of those really annoying people who leave everything until last minute and then get frustrated because I have little (or no) time to finish it. I have one exam to go and then I'm DONE for second year. I still can't believe when I return I'll be a third year uni student. To me that is insane. Cliché, but life really does 'fly by'. I study Primary Education with ICT and I do enjoy it for the most part but it's tougher than I ever imagined. But enough about me now onto the outfit.

Big thanks to my little sister Jess who took all of the photos. I really love this shirt! I still can't believe it's from Asda and I've had so many compliments on it. As for the jeans they are my must have buy, purely because they're extra comfy. The hat is my sisters (we're forever borrowing eachothers things) and it's a bargain from Primark too.

I'll be back soon with some more bits and bobs,

Abby
